When you travel you need to make sure that you’ve packed properly and have all the right gear with you, otherwise the whole trip can turn into a bit of a nightmare and if you need to buy things it can get very pricey.
I have made many a mistake with my packing over the years but now I’ve got it down to a fine art, I know exactly what I need to bring and always make sure the essentials are in my bag. I have learnt that you don’t need to pack your best clothes to make sure you’re always looking swanky, what you need to do it bring along some key items that will work in any situation.
Before I start telling you about what to bring one item I can definitely tell that isn’t essential is a white t shirt. But they look great I hear you say, well yes they do but if you forget one don’t worry because white t shirts aren’t always the best. On the road they can get dirty so easily and can leave you looking grubby in no time at all!
Ok, so back to what you need to bring on every single trip.
It doesn’t matter if you’re sitting in an outdoor bar at a 5 star or waiting for a bus in some remote town, a pair of good shades will help any look and upgrade your outfit. They also come with the benefit of protecting your eyes from the sun and also hiding them if you’re tired from a long flight.
A Ralph Polo
Absolute essential in every travel bag because a good Ralph Lauren polo can be worn at anytime of the day and still look classy. It’s my go to top when I’m grabbing something quickly from the bag. They’re decent t-shirts which will go well with a pair of shorts walking around town or with a pair of jeans if you’re heading out for the night. Always have 1 or 2 of these in your bag and you’ll always have something to wear anytime.
Good Flip Flops
A good pair of flip flops is essential if you’re going to be on a beach holiday, but they also have their uses at other times too. You can wear them in your room, when you’re heading to the pool or if you’re on a long journey. Do make sure that you invest in a good pair though, for too long I was just wearing cheap fake versions and thought that was as good as it gets but I was so wrong – the comfort and support you get from a decent pair are just as good as trainers. Always have these in your bag because you will get so much use out of them and means you won’t have to buy a rubbish pair on your way to the beach.
